生物礁滩是海相碳酸盐岩地层中一类重要的油气储层,它与围岩相比具有一定的独特性。通过优选地震属性并结合地质综合分析可减少多解性,提高预测精度。本文主要通过使用GeoEast解释系统中的多窗口倾角扫描确定台地边缘位置,明确有利的发育相带;利用相干能量梯度刻画生物礁滩的具体形态。应用该系统对波斯湾盆地碳酸盐岩地层开展的地震属性预测,准确地圈定出生物礁滩的分布位置和范围,大幅度地提高了该区油气勘探的成功率。
Abstract
Different from their surrounding rocks, organic reefs and banks are very important kinds of carbonate reservoir. So to accurately predict organic reef and bank in carbonate rocks will greatly raise drilling success ratio. We discuss in this paper organic reef and bank prediction with approaches provided by GeoEast. In a project of the Middle East, we first use multi-windows dip scanning with geological data to determinate platform margin and favorable farcies belts. Then we depict organic reef and bank shape with coherent energy gradient. Applications in the area show that our approach is very efficient for carbonate reservoir prediction and drilling success rate is greatly increased.
